SOURDOUGH INTRODUCTION WORKSHOP
We all love a good slice of bread. A bun, panini or a tosti. But where do you find a tasty and healthy sourdough bread without any additives? Soon in your own oven at home ;). I will teach you how to bake a healthy artisan sourdough bread from scratch.
Baking bread is not very complicated when you know what you are doing. All you need is flour, sourdough, salt and water. We will use local ingredients of the best quality, the basics of a tasty bread. I will introduce you to the different types of flours from this region and will show you all kinds of grindings.
You can join the sourdough introduction workshop without any bread baking experience; everyone can learn how to bake. If you baked breads before, but want to improve your skills or succes rate, this workshop is just what you need.
We will meet at my little workshop bakery in the campo of Alhaurín el Grande (just 25 minutes from Málaga and 30 from Fuengirola). The workshops are in English, Dutch or bilingual. You will be with 4-8 fellow bakers, so there will be plenty of time to ask questions.
INTRODUCTION WORKSHOP SOURDOUGH BREAD
We will dive into the world of baking sourdoughbread. How it benefits your health. How to make a starter from scratch. How to strengthen your sourdough. What are the do’s and don’ts? Around lunchtime we will have an artisan bread tasting with different types of sourdough bread. You see, smell and taste the different local cereals that are processed in the loaves. After this workshop you will take home your freshly baked sourdough loaf to bake in your own oven at home. And some dried flakes of my sourdoughstarter, so you can bake your own sourdough breads at home.

From: 9.45 walk-in, start 10.00 – end ± 14.00
Including: Meet and greet with coffee/tea and home baked sweet, water, coffee, tea at your disposal, bread tasting with a variety sourdough breads
Take away: sourdough recipes, tips & tricks and…. your freshly baked bread 🙂 and a sourdough starter.

Use the application form below and make sure you choose the right workshop and the preferred date. Within 2 working days I will reply per e-mail with additional information and a route how to get to the bakery.
If there are not enough bakers for a certain date, then I will let you know per mail or Whatsapp what the alternatives are. Marije bakt brood has the right to cancel a workshop at any time (due to sickness or personal circumstances). We will try to plan a new date to bake.
All workshops are paid in cash at arrival, since I do not have a machine to pay by card. Gift certificates cannot be changed for cash.
